Wonderful Washi – crafty & easy ideas for washi tape projects
If you’re a person who doesn’t quite know what to do with washi tape – this post is for you! At Troolie, we adore washi tape! we use it to finish off packages, to decorate our counter top, make cupcake toppers and to display paper items (it doesn’t pull off the paper like regular tape). But there are hundreds of things you can do with it – so we thought we’d share a few ideas.

Gift Wrap: Have a plain box and no wrapping paper on hand? Get out that washi tape and make cool patterns!
Decor: you can put this tape on practically anything and it won’t cause any damage. it’s like a removable wall sticker. make some simple (or complicated!) graphic lines on your walls or a table – adds a little sumthin’-sumthin’ with very little cost or effort.
Gifts: have a glass jar lying around the house? add some washi tape and now you have a lovely vase! create interesting patterns on plain ceramics to add a pop of color or wow factor. Easy, peasy.
Tech: have an issue with too many wires? Tidy them right up with a little washi tape. You can also use the tape to label your wires – so you know what goes where.
Organize: make your datebook look exciting with strips of washi tape to help organize your appointments and to-do’s. Try using different colors for various tasks. If something changes – just tear it off and your calendar still looks fresh.
We have loads of colors and patterns to get your creative juices flowing!
